Well, I know it has been forever since I have left any notes on this neglected blog but that is because you all and my wonderful family have been keeping me ever so busy! Which for that, I am grateful!! I have had several folks asking about my annual Christmas location and dates for Christmas/family sessions, so I thought I needed to hurry up and get it on the blog so everyone can know all of the details!! Last year, we went really modern and took our couch downtown and the sessions all had a very urban feel- This year....I am so excited to announce it will be a Country Christmas!
My hubby's family recently bought a 50 acre family farm in Fayetteville complete with an old barn, an old house, and beautiful grassy fields! So I thought, why not do it there! It will be something different for everyone and it is a gorgeous drive to get to the property- Now, keep in mind, this land hasn't had any loving owners in quite some time, so we still have a lot of work to do and there are lots of things that are grown up and need attention! We went up to it this past weekend to clean out from around the barn and I took some pictures so that all of you could see for yourself- Also keep in mind, that I have a vision for this, I know these buildings aren't in mint condition, I wouldn't want them to be! Here are the barn and the side of the old house I want to use...
There is also a gravel road close to the property that has trees hanging over it from both sides of the road that I think will be beautiful with my couch, for those of you who haven't had a session on it before! I will also have several props that I will be bringing including fun ride on toys, and furniture!! There are several different clothing options that you could go with on this as well!! The dates are going to have to be on Sundays for me this go around and are going to be October 25th, and November 1st- I am throwing around the possibility of doing a Friday also, so if that works better for you email me and let me know-
All sessions will be about 45 minutes- These will be beautiful with all of the leaves changing colors and perfect for your Christmas Cards- speaking of which, I will be posting my new templates this year in a week or so- so stay tuned for that!
